Another of Gaudí's creations, Park Güell was initially designed to become an elite residential complex. The idea failed, however. So, nowadays it is a public park with one of the best views of the city with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop. An imposing stairway guided by a dragon, peristyle hall and the large main square framed by a bench in the shape of a giant lizard: the place offers countless photo opportunities.

Gaudi's magnum opus, the project he spent more than 40 years of his life on. The basilica is still in construction. There is a small park in front of the main façade where you can take nice snaps of the soaring towers. But don’t miss an opportunity to capture the symphony of light that is the interior. Columns, intricate carvings, stained-glass windows create breathtaking visuals. Book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
