Els Encants Vells is a famous open-air flea market in the El Poblenou district. The history of this place dates back to the 14th century, making it one of the oldest flea markets in Europe. Today it occupies a large three-story complex. The place is filled with all kinds of peculiar staff. You can find everything here, literally everything. It is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and is worth a visit at least to feel the energy of the place.
KateBarcelona’s most famous flea market. You can find here almost anything you can only think of: decoration, furniture, fabrics, film cameras, clothes. Here, I bought my favorite filigree earrings. Another memorable discovery was a cute turn-of-a-century vase, which became the perfect Mother’s Day present. The market is open only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It is better to come here when you have some time on your hands. It takes a while to dig up something good.
