🌅 Sitges is a charming coastal town with beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. Once a tiny fishing village with a port, it is now known for its Bohemian vibes.

🚊 Sitges is located just 35 km outside of Barcelona. Just jump on a train from Barcelona Sants station and in about 30 minutes you will be there.

🏝️ First thing: check out the beaches. Many of the beaches surrounding Sitges have been awarded a blue flag by the European Union for the cleanness of water. Playa de San Sebastián and Playa de la Ribera are some of our favorites.

🏰 Wander around the Old Town. The narrow street has a romantic atmosphere and plenty of interesting boutiques and shops.

🔔 Stop by the Church of Church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla to snap some pictures.

🍸 Stick around for the nightlife! After the sun sets down, the party begins. There are a lot of great restaurants and bars.

🎭 Look up festivals in Sitges. In February they have a Carnival. And in October the Film Festival takes place.

🦐 Sitges is also well known for its splendid Catalan cuisine at the local tapas bars and seaside restaurants. It is a place to taste fresh seafood, paella, and a glass of local Cava.

So, there you have it, Sitges is your perfect day trip from Barcelona.

Stroll along the palm-fringed promenade or explore the artistic heritage that once allured Luminista school artists. For a taste of local flavors, reserve a spot at La Salseta. While the night comes alive, especially along the vibrant 'Street of Sin'. Delve into the art realm at Palau Maricel, and if an overnight stay beckons, Hotel Platjador awaits.
